Their music draws inspiration from and pays homage to timeless artists like: Etta James, Louis Armstrong, Harry Belafonte, and Marvin Gaye as we as contemporaries such as: Leon Bridges, Chris Stapleton, Kacey Musgraves., and Amy Winehouse. Since first matching on Tinder in 2015, Garrett & Tamara have performed across the country at some of the most iconic and prestigious venues including: Lincoln Center, The Perelman Performing Arts Center, The New York Botanical Garden, Cipriani, The United Nations, Mohonk Mountain House, Prospect Park Boathouse, The Parrish Art Museum, The River Café, Wölffer Estate Vineyard, Gurney's Montauk, and Blue Hill at Stone Barns.
