Blue Spruce Bluegrass Band from Kensington, MD

Blue Spruce is a Washington, DC-area bluegrass band featuring two-time IBMA Hall of Fame bassist Tom Gray. Since 2010, we have performed throughout the Mid-Atlantic at festivals, community celebrations, restaurants, breweries, weddings, and private and corporate events. We perform as a regularly rehearsed 4- or 5-piece ensemble, with guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass, and optional fiddle. We can provide our own professional sound system and tailor the performance to anything from cocktail-hour background music to a featured stage show. Known for strong musicianship, tight harmonies, and an engaging but approachable style, Blue Spruce creates a warm, lively atmosphere that audiences genuinely enjoy.
