CHARMAS is a live event band performing throughout the San Francisco Bay Area for weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, celebrations of life, music festivals, and private parties. Our versatile lineup lets you mix genres, so get creative and send us your wish list. Choose our high-energy electric dance band for pop, rock, soul, jazz, ska, reggae, surf rock, and timeless oldies, or our Celtic folk band for traditional and contemporary Irish and Scottish music. Add bagpipes for a dramatic entrance, nostalgic favorites, a spontaneous barn dance, or smooth cocktail music to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Being a 3-5 piece band means Charmas can comfortably fit into your backyard, or fill a whole stage and light up your dance floor. Our electric band's standard instrumentation includes saxophone, flute, fiddle, guitar, bass, and drums (with an option to add bagpipes or additional percussion). Our folk band's standard instrumentation includes flute, fiddle, bagpipes, low whistle, pennywhistle, guitar, standup or electric bass, and kit or hand drums. Song requests welcome. Please ask our band manager to help you design a perfect setlist for your event.
