Ever since purchasing his first set of belt driven turntables from radio shack at the age of 13, Dj Nelly D has always had a passion for music. Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Dj Nelly D gained his skills by listening to mixtapes from other dj's. Once his skills became proficient in mixing and scratching, he began to dj parties for family and friends. From the soulful sounds of the 70's to todays heavy bass and electronic sounds, Dj Nelly D continues to provide music for events all across the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area.
