We hired Walrus for a company BBQ / concert event. These are outstanding , highly talented, professional musicians. Slightly more expensive but worth every $ (You get what you pay for). As a former band member myself, I notice the little things that make a group tight and great. These guys are the real deal. They arrived early, set up and ready to go on time, put on a great show, were respectful of the type of audience and even allowed preferences of songs we liked from their set list (song list). Next time I will hire someone else to BBQ so I can listen to their entire show undistracted by my employees and friends. They are that good! Hire them! They are the best!

The Walrus performed at our daughter's wedding for a group ranging in age from 10 to 80. Everyone had a great time, especially the 20-30 somethings. They (the wedding party as well as The Walrus) really got into Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, while there was a nice mix of slower songs for us old fogies. As the wedding dinner was winding down and before the serious dancing began the group performed with their acoustic instruments outdoors to get the party going. They played nearly non-stop for over 3 hours with only one short break, so we felt that we got great value and were well entertained.

The Walrus were incredible. They learned a couple songs for us, including one for our (very literal) first dance- and nailed them. They were incredibly professional, extremely talented, and we would both recommend them to anyone. My grandparents loved them, our parents loved them, our friends loved them- my boss loved them (thanks guys!). They made our wedding, and we can't thank them enough.

The Walrus was a true pleasure to work with. They were extremely professional, on-time and played a great show. We asked them to learn a song for us, and they did a phenomenal job of pulling it off. They were completely self-sufficient, they needed nothing from us (except payment of course!) and played for the contracted time, plus some. Highly recommended!

All of our members had a great time at this event and dance. Music was very good - the band played a little more 70's rock than we would have liked. But - my fault I didn't say anything because I'm sure they would have changed it up. More dance songs would have been good.

Great all around. A few too many songs that were not danceable. Everyone had great comments and we would have them back in the future. A few more songs need to be learnt.

"Danceable" is a very subjective term. We played the same songs the weekends before and after this event to a dance floor that was packed all night. Many people came up to us at the end of the night to say how much they enjoyed us, some saying we were the best band they ever had. And the song we played that we think is the least danceable (Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody) received the most compliments. We tried to accommodate as many requests as possible. No song requests were made before the gig. There were 3-4 requests made that were outside our repertoire and we would have been happy to learn them if we had been notified before the gig.
