First, Gigmasters was great to work for. Came through with all details. Athene Wilson and her band met our expectations. She was so personal and really engaged the audience. She had a great selection of songs and brought the audience to move with the music. She was professional adn personable. It was an unbelievable one hour of music and the response from the audience was all excellent reviews. We would have her return again for another performance. A five star performance.

Athene is an AMAZINGLY talented woman extremely professional and truly accommodating. She put us at ease and was so patient and flexible around each request we made of her. When we first heard her perform we fell in love not only with her voice, but with her. We hired her for our wedding and are so unbelievable happy that we did. She set the exact tone we were looking for and added to the purely romantic essence of the day. We could not believe that someone of her caliber was singing at our wedding!! She was truly a treat and we will continue to frequent her local shows as we are her newest fans.

This girl can belt it out! I was a liitle apprehensive contracting her without knowing much about her, but I'm glad I went with my gut feeling. We were so impressed, as was everyone in the ceremony.

Athene gets an overall rating of OUTSTANDING!!!!!
We are very please to have chosen her to be a part of what we wished to be a memmorable event for our guest of honor. Our evening was a surprise retirement party for my husband who served the City of Boston for over 30 years. He had no clue of the event until the moment he got there... Athene made it possible for us to surprise him his a personal dedication of music that is in his personal collection of 'favorites'. The entire audience was in awe of her talent anf gift of voice. SHE WAS A HIT!!!!!!

Athene was delightful. She made our event memorable. Athene and her band arrived a little late hence the music started a bit late. In the future I would prefer to have Athene and the band dress more dressier (a bit casual for our event). Athene did some ad libbing which was charming. She was very gracious to offer her CD as a 2nd prize for the evening. She has a great voice.

Athene was great -- after a few songs with slightly muddy acoustics, the band and Athene fixed the sound issue and the songs were clear and strong. The Marvin Gaye, Etta James and Patti LaBelle songs were especially enjoyable. We highly recommend her.

My experience with Athene Wilson was an absolute nightmare! I booked her for my wedding on May 4, 2014. She arrived 2 hours late! I had no music during my ceremony and also during cocktail hour. When she arrived she set up during the reception.
We paid her $1000. for 5 hours of her service and $50. to Gigmaster for a booking fee. She immediately ask Gigmasters to refund the $50. and offered no refund for her default of contract. After pressuring her for a pro-rated refund for 2 hours in the amount of $400. She has agreed to a $200. refund., Which is unacceptable!
We have not come to an agreement and I foresee this going to Small Claims Court! BEWARE!!!

It is unfortunate that this client chose to respond this way.Yes,I was late for the ceremony and was not able to get into the venue until the ceremony was finished which was a 40 min delay (not 2 hours.Upon entering we immediately set up within 5- 7 minutes and proceeded to play their cocktail hour and through dinner(reception. We then took a 15 min break which included music playing through Ipod as agreed. We came back and started off there second half with their special dances and played through the evening until it was time to end at 9:10pm. We provided them with 4 and ½ hours of music. Several guest complimented us on excellent music! My record speaks for itself.

Wish there were 6 stars to give Athene. She made our wedding ceremony so special, so warm, so intimate. And the cocktail hours was really special with Athene belting out so many amazing songs. All our guests commented on her incredible talent. She was just phenomenal.

Athene Wilson put on an incredible show for our residents at the "Care One at Lexington!" Athene has a incredible voice, and she has a very engaging and energetic stage presence. Many of the residents are already saying how much they can't wait until Athene comes again! I'm definitely going to book Athene for many more shows to come. If you want a true talented professional that gives 110% then definitely book Athene Wilson!
