We've had the pleasure of communicating frequently with David throughout our wedding planning process, as well as meeting and listening to David perform at one of his solo events prior to our wedding. David is a very talented musician and his music made our ceremony a much more elegant occasion. He gracefully steered me away from my request to play acoustically, and as it turns out, with the outdoor background noise, his advice and judgment was spot-on. After the ceremony, David was kind to e-mail photos from our event, which gave us a different perspective of the day's events. Thanks, David!

Dear Melissa, Thank you very much for hiring me and for the very kind review. I thought the Heritage Historical park was such a quaint and charming place for a wedding ceremony. Had I to do it all over again, instead of the small battery powered amp that I did bring, I would have brought my full PA system. Apparently, that is what the minister did and he did not purchase a $1,000,000 insurance policy or even know about it! As I figured, nobody would have said a thing and overall the sound would have been exactly as it should have been. We and out guests thoroughly enjoyed the musical selections
offered by David. We had told him our musical preferences before,
and he put together a brilliant "montage" of all the various music
we like. He was accommodating, skillful, professional in presentation

We recently hired David to play background music for our wedding reception. He was punctual and set up quickly, and his equipment was appropriate for the venue.
David's playing was excellent; his classical/Spanish pieces were beautiful, as were his interpretations of more modern/popular pieces. Most guests specifically told us how much they enjoyed his playing throughout the night.
There's not much else to be said that hasn't been mentioned in other reviews - I would thoroughly recommend David for anyone seeking a guitar soloist.

David is an excellent artist with great communication skills. He gauged the audience in order to determine how and what to play. When taking a break, which we requested, he made sure his music was being played through the CD system. He was professional, responsive and he used the right sound system for the room. He played on two guitars and everybody loved his music as well as his playing. Since David hadn't played in Laguna Woods Village before, we passed some of his cards to interested parties.

I have enormous difficulty inviting strangers into my home and took a huge chance with David. My worries were unfounded. I hired him to play for my wife's 50th surprise birthday party with 80 guests in our backyard. The process was seamless to hire him and he arrived on time and played continually throughout the night. The guests were "wow'd" by his beautiful guitar playing. It was a perfect night. If you want a professional, personable, and talented guitarist - hire David. You won't be disappointed.

He was great! He arrived an hour before the time guests arrived so he could set up and did not charge me for that. He was very pleasant, nice to the guests and extremely friendly. He has a wide range of music for a variety of ages.

Booked David two days before our event, and things could not have gone smoother from start to finish. He arrived 45 minutes early to set up and played almost continuously for 3 hours with only a short break. Music was ideal for our backyard social event. I could not have asked for anything more from David. From the start, David was prompt in his responses to my (many) emails requesting more information. He even learned a few songs that were not on his list! He arrived early, improvised as needed to fill space throughout our wedding ceremony, and even stayed late through our family photos to keep the mood.
