We had a fantastic time at our reception and Melonbelly made it extra special. They were on time, professional and more than accomodating with all the little activities we had planned. Melonbelly was hired to play our wedding reception and did a great job. Clifton was always very prompt in answering any questions leading up to the event and they were on-time and very self sufficient getting set-up and ready to play. Music selection was very good and we received many compliments on the band from attendees including a mix of different age groups. We were very pleased with our selection and feel like it helped make the day even more special... thanks guys.

Cliff and Burke were polite, personable, knowledgable, and willing to set up at our instruction for our son's 16th birthday party. They involved the audience, were flexible in their choice of music, and made it a great experience, one that we would repeat without reservation. For those interested in a more acoustic, cerebral, and artistic performance, rather than a loud brash of rockers, one couldn't ask more.

We hired Melonbelly for our wedding reception. Melonbelly was very professional and very nice! While they did play the songs requested at the end, some of the songs during the reception were not as upbeat dance songs as we wanted. We had a fairly younger crowd (20's and 30's) so we would have liked to dance more than we did. They were great at announcing the different events throughout our reception. Overall we did like Melonbelly.

We got married on July 4th in a outdoor treehouse venue in Asheville and had a gathering with just immediate families, which included several small children and 17 adults. Cliff and Burke were excellent, and very flexible about playing in a treehouse for the ceremony and first dances with a bigger set up on the forest floor for dancing! Their sound was perfect, matching the exact atmosphere we were going for- they even learned several new songs that were particularly meaningful for us. They are very talented. We would definitely recommend working with them for your event!

Melonbelly Acoustic Guitarists and a fill in keyboardist played our luxury micro wedding on our front porch! It was an amazing experience and they made our wedding magical. Clifton was so responsive during booking and planning. He was safe and communicated well about minimizing covid risks. The music was wonderful and they were able to play all of our favorites! I walked down to Canon in D, They played Ode to Joy, and we danced to Your Song by Elton John. These guys are amazing and we will definitely book them again!

We used two groups for our daughter’s wedding and rehearsal. Both were different and both were great. I can not believe anyone could have been better than Mellonbelly for the wedding. They provided for all of our special requests. When they were on break, the music selection being played matched well, too. We would hire them again and we highly recommended them without reservation.

Melonbelly played at a 90+ person BBQ thrown as a wedding rehearsal dinner. Many of the guests complimented the quality of their renditions of many familiar songs. They played with great range across several genres and at just the right volume that we could all appreciate the music while still making introductions and keeping conversation. Melonbelly was extraordinarily accommodating of our needs. We had too book them last minute, but it was a breeze finalizing arrangements! I give them my highest recommendation for your event!

I booked Melonbelly on a whim one night for my son's rehearsal dinner, which was held in our backyard. I'm so glad I did. Everything turned out perfect: the weather, decorations, food...but having the music of Melonbelly made it a truly magical evening we will never forget. They played a couple of songs my son had requested in advance and the rest of the music was all great too. Great background music. Everyone there loved them. My neighbors told me they really enjoyed the music as well!! They are a great band. They were also very responsive during the period leading up to the event.
