Matt was amazing and is extremely talented! We held a corporate party in our office with employees and clients, and he played the right mix of music and read the crowd! He set the mood perfectly for a fun event. His songs were upbeat. His voice and guitar was the perfect mix for an awesome acoustic sound. He came on time and was professional and ready to go as soon as the event started. Definitely use Matt for your next event, you will not be disappointed!

Matt was amazing, everyone was talking about him all night. I would definitely hire him again! Very easy to talk to and made our ceremony so special. The amount of compliments we received and continue to receive were unreal. People actually asked if he was really singing or just THAT good, and let me tell you, HE IS THAT GOOD!! I wish he could have played the entire night!!

Matt was absolutely wonderful to work with. Matt provided the music for both the cocktail hour which was on the deck of the beautiful GreatHorse and for the Reception. Matt Hartke was the perfect addition to our wedding reception this past Saturday. He went out of his way to learn our first dance song in only a few days and impressed us with his talent! We are so happy we chose Matt over the handful of musicians we were looking at. We left most of the song choices up to him and he did a great job of setting the perfect, relaxed tone to our event. Matt absolutely MADE our cocktail hour. Multiple guests went out of their way to comment how talented and fun he was with taking requests. Not only was he amazing for the initial hour, but he was super flexible and easy to work with throughout. We asked him to play our first dance last minute and he learned the song in a week! Best decision was to hire him!!

Matt was great to work with, we booked him months ago to play during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. A couple weeks before the event we asked if he could extend by an extra hour and he was great about it. He even learnt a new song for us to walk down the aisle to. We hired Matt Hartke to play during our wedding ceremony and our cocktail hour, and he's great to work with. He's very professional in demeanor and very accommodating with his time. He has a wide range of musical knowledge to draw on, and he's very talented with his singing and playing. He's also quite organized with his note-taking, and has good intuition on the kinds of music that are appropriate to play for a gathering, particularly given the kinds of songs people have requested in the past. The man's going places, so pick him up for wedding gigs and similar events while you still can!

I hired Matt to play for a small birthday party for my high-profile employer. Planning these types of events can be stressfull, especially if you are hiring staff/entertainment that you haven't worked with before. Matt was ranked at the top of my search, due to his ratings and great reviews. And I can say they were very accurate. Matt kept in touch with me leading up to the event, accommodated a couple special requests, and arrived early with time to set up and have a chat with me before he started to play. He's very talented, and was very easy to work with. Needless to say, Matt met all of our expectations. I'll be booking him again, the next time I need live music.
