Mr. Barreto was an amazing guitar player! He was dressed appropriately for the event and his music was perfect. I would say the only issue we had was a language barrier. It was hard for me to understand him and it put us both in an awkward position. Ultimately, I would hire him again if I were to need entertainment in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

May was extremely professional and personable. He arrived early to set up in the private room we had and was completely ready for when the guests arrived. He took requests, interacted with everyone, was flexible with time. My guests, who included diplomats who are well traveled and have seen the best, thoroughly enjoyed him and told him (and me) at the end of the evening! (Surpise engagement proposal) Mr. Barreto agreed to learn and play two simple slow songs and to incorporate my fiances name in one of them. This was a month before the booking and he didn't do either. On top of that we found him playing to another couple in bathing suits. Before hand I had told him I would be wearing shorts with a tie. I soon learned because we were 30 min late he had been playing our songs to other people in the park... i guess marketing himself. In the end, I paid Mr. Barreto $150 to play one and half songs for us and for total strangers in the park.
