We had a grand opening of our new office location and hired the Lizz and Rex Review to perform as "background music" during a cocktail party. They were anything but background as many of our 400+ guests were thoroughly enjoyed the performance. They played many recognizable classics that had many feet tapping and some singing along. The band is top notch, from the double bassist and jazz guitarist to the keyboardist and saxophonist. The vocal skills of Elizabeth are second-to-none. Her voice is silky smooth and reminds one of a young Rosemary Clooney or Esther Williams. There is no doubt that the Lizz and Rex Review will perform for us again in the future!

Lizz & Rex Review were great! Very talented and easy to work with. They kept our New Year's Eve party entertaining and exciting. Wish they could have picked up the tempo a little towards the end of the night but everyone still had a wonderful time and were out on the dance floor! Thanks again guys--what a great way to ring in 2012!

The band was great and everyone loved them. We did notice that one member of the band spent a lot of time outside, but other then that the band was very professional and played very well. We would definitely recommend them!

I hired Lizz and Rex Review for a decade birthday party in hometown. They were professional from the beginning as in contacting me and making arrangements to the end- the actual party. Friends raved about them and couldn't believe we could have such talent at one of our parties. They were on time and set up awaiting the first guests. Played and sang throughout the evening. Absolutely made the evening. I highly recommend them. It is hard to believe you could find someone more talented, affordable and professional.

Once again, Liz and Rex provided outstanding entertainment and everyone in attendance experienced a great evening of song. Liz was on top of her game even more than usual, and the instrumentalists were flawless. My only regret is that I can only do this twice each year!

The Lizz and Rex Jazz Trio was a huge hit at my wedding reception. They were wonderful people who went out of their way to try and accomodate me at my wedding. Their music was absolutely beautiful and everyone loved them. They even asked me what my wedding colors were and tried to dress accordingly. You won't go wrong with this group. We chose the 5-piece band for our wedding reception in August, and so glad we did! The band was so accommodating to our needs and helped keep within our budget.
L&R Review had a great full sound that filled the room, headed by Lizz's perfectly vintage, era-appropriate voice! We had so many complements for our band choice...it was by far the piece to the reception that had people talking!
And later we had Ron DJ with some modern music we requested, and it was a blast! We had a handful of suggestions and he rolled with it. People kept telling us it was such a great evening and I honestly believe the band helped make it perfect!

Very accommodating with regard to special requests, making announcements per our schedule, music selections, and volume. They were prompt and ready perform per schedule. I requested that all men wear suits and ties, and that Liz wear a cocktail dress; two of the three men wore suits and Liz wore a dowdy skirt, top, and flat shoes. Lack of attention to request regarding attire resulted in a disappointing appearance, one not commensurate with our event. The catering director had to ask the lead band member to refrain from seeking alcoholic drinks from the bar; this was viewed as VERY non-professional as the band was working as a vendor not attending as guests.

This review is unfair, unreasonable and petty. Lizi wore a knee length silk designer skirt in the requested color, and heels the first 5 hours of the 7+ hour evening. The bass player wore a tie and matching separates. If the bride wanted to dictate exact clothing, she should have provided stipends! NO ONE spoke to ANY band member about alcohol. On break, a player was looking at the bourbon educational display, and had friendly banter ABOUT the bourbon trail with the catering captain- who still requested business cards, and said we were a “wonderful breath of fresh air.” The mother of the bride and guests gushed about the music... and this bride complains about shoes?

Musically, they were wonderful. Administratively less than great. After the first communication, getting in touch with the manager to have him respond to questions/requests was not easy. An "thoughtful concession" we granted to the band was which was to be a discrete accommodation for the singer, ended up not being discrete and was commented upon by a number of guests. The first player who showed-up was surly and demanding; luckily our planner dealt with it. As mentioned, Elizabeth has a lovely voice and the band was talented.

We gave in to this couple’s insistence- they wanted Elizabeth for their reception, but we were booked. Our policy is not to perform more than one gig a day, because we focus everything on the job at hand. We finally gave in, and had another 5 star bandleader cover the music until Elizabeth could travel between gigs. She had to leave the other gig early.
Additionally, they requested she learn a new song at the last minute, which she did, with no compensation. The groom approached us and we spoke for over 20 minutes during the evening, and he never mentioned a single problem, so we could fix his issues. Now he leaves bad feedba

We hired Elizabeth Hayes Muscial Review for a corporate event in Indianapolis and they were a perfect fit for our evening.
The communication pre-event was very easy and all the follow ups were done quickly.
Everything went smoothly the night of the event. They are very talented musician. Our guest enjoyed them very much.
