Sam Powell was the ultimate professional. 7 days before the wedding I asked Sam if he would perform a particular song. Sam nailed the song, he was on time & the his song choices were so appropriate for our vow renewal. I would highly recommend Sam for your function. Thanks Sam.

What can I say about Sam...well he played Sax at my wedding and I was floored! He's amazing!!
From the beginning of our contact here on Gigmasters he was professional, attentive, suggestive, prompt, easy to get a hold of, pleasant, easy to talk to, relatable and extremely talented!
He listened to our suggestions as he also suggested some songs of his own. He played LADY as our wedding song and it sounded PERFECT!!! I am beyond happy we went with Sam, he is everything we wanted our sax player to be.

I do not think I can put in words what it meant to us having Sam at my event, other than to say SAM WAS AMAZING! I hired him for my husband's 50th party, and I can genuinely say that Sam made the night magical. Sam was on time, very professional... everyone kept coming to me and asking for his information and complimenting his music. He was truly awesome! He has really beautiful videos on this site, but I can tell you that listening to his music in person is just fantastic. We will definitely hire Sam again, and I truly recommend him. Sam is AWESOME. We've used him at a couple weddings now and he never disappoints. We asked him to practice a specific song for a couple's first dance. He knew how important is was to us and our client and he made sure it was PERFECT. However, after working with him a couple times, we realized he needs no preparation or guidance. He is impeccable at playing along with any and all songs from 50's, 60s, 70's all the way up to today's top 40. The last wedding we did with him ended with the entire bridal party dancing around him as he played along to New York, New York. He's professional, accommodating and his talent is unmatched. He is the perfect addition to any event.

Sam was a wedding day blessing. We looked into a lot of musicians and I am thrilled we decided to book Sam for our wedding. He played during the ceremony and the cocktail hour and to this day (almost 2 weeks later) people are still talking about him. The saxophone during the actual ceremony was so beautiful it's hard to describe. It conveyed the emotions of the scene perfectly. The cocktail hour was another big hit with Sam playing a wide variety of songs, while not being overly intrusive. It was the perfect ambiance for the perfect day and 5 stars does not accurately convey how happy we are with Sam. He showed up early and was very professional. Highly recommended!

We booked Sam for our black-tie Christmas party, and he was phenomenal. We were a young crowd (mid-twenties), and he was able to entertain our guests the whole night. Sam was incredibly personable and tremendously talented. A true entertainer! We hired a band separately for our event, that Sam completely upstaged! Sam had the dancefloor moving all night and set the vibe for our 150 guests. I would hire him again and again and again, for every event!

This was a very big event for me being it was my daughters wedding. I hit the jackpot when I found and selected "Sam the Sax guy" to play at my daughters wedding on August 20th 2016. Not only was Sam a great sax musician but he fulfilled every request (which was a lot) that I asked of him. From leading us down the isle playing "here comes the bride" to playing the great songs that we requested. I, along with EVERYONE at the wedding loved his gifted talent! I would highly recommend Sam in the future for any event involving playing the saxophone. And to add, he is a great guy with a great personality. Thank you!

Sam was very friendly and professional. From the first time I spoke to him over the phone I had a positive feeling about Sam and felt I could relax and trust him. I was arranging this from the UK and it was also my first time booking an artist 'blind'. Sam put me at ease and I had a very warm feeling about this. Any requests that I had for him to play from Bangra or Tamil music was not an issue he accommodated it. On the day he came earlier than promised set things up and played extremely well .

I was extremely pleased with Sam's performance for our classy benefit dinner. He arrived on time, was well dressed and very professional. Sam the Sax guy was exactly what we wanted for our outdoor cocktail hour and he really set the tone. Sam was very professional and really took the time to get to know what we were looking for. He provided a song list so that we can choose which songs he played throughout the hour. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the live music and Sam is extremely good at playing the saxophone. He even played past the appointed time since the cocktail hour went a little bit longer. He wanted to make sure there was music playing while guests were still enjoying themselves. If you have the chance to do so, book Sam the Sax Guy and you will be very happy with your choice.
