They were extremely professional throughout our entire wedding planning and at the ceremony. They were on time, and sounded fantastic. We received so many compliments on our wedding ceremony music. I would absolutely hire them again for my events!

The women were wonderful, braved the cold and just added a wonderful touch of class to the garden wedding. They are obviously talented musicians and were the perfect addition to a lovely wedding. Many guests, and the owner of Southern Exposure, commented on how having their music really was just the right compliment to the ceremony. I would hire them again without reservation.

We were looking for a cello-violin duo to play Ravel's Bolero instead of a classical Bridal's march for our wedding. Horizon's strings replied quickly and professionally, offering to specially arrange the piece; they did a wonderful job, managing to adapt the pulse of the Bolero with a staccato. They arrived on time, started playing while guests took their places and played the Bolero on the bridal entrance. After the ceremony, they also played two Beatles songs. They could not make to the rehearsal, but for the very good communication we felt that we could fully trust them to be the music of our special occasion -- and so they were. We are very grateful.

They were great for the ceremony but when they moved up for the cocktail hour they set-up too far away to be heard by everyone. I know it was warm and they were looking for shade but in that case maybe a mic would of helped. They were wonderful, we just couldn't hear it. Thanks

We tried to move to shade, as our instruments are very valuable and are not protected when in direct sunlight. There was not a lot of protection from the sun, so we moved as best we could to both protect our instruments and accomodate the guests with our music. The bridal party was also farther down taking pictures during the cocktail hour, so they were not directly in the cocktail hour area for part of that hour, so they may not have heard us as well. Also it being outside, unless you were close to the group on the deck area, you may not have heard us as well.

One of the performers was sick, but they offered us a discount without us even asking. Even though they were one short, they still sounded fabulous and it really made the day special. They even took some special song requests for me. They were punctual and able to follow the cues in the ceremony, so don't worry that they can't be at your rehearsal because these musicians know what they are doing!

They did a fantastic job. They are extremely professional and very accommodating to all needs and requests. During the planning of the ceremony they met with us personally to make arrangements and followed through with our needs. They arrived promptly and quietly and preformed better than we could have desired. They worked very well with the church and other vendors and were very professionally dressed. I would and will recommend them to anyone looking for string trio/quartets needs for any function.

Without microphones, people in the back of the room had a little harder time hearing the music. Overall, members enjoyed the music very well during dinner.
