AMAZING! Mr. Stillman sang beautifully, played a host of instruments, taught my nieces how to step dance, told stories and jokes from Ireland all in one fun-filled hour! He is a fine musician and very gracious and accommodating as well. I thoroughly recommend him.

Richard and his group are very talented. We had talked about a song list and about gospel bluegrass before hand. They did very well, upbeat and fun. As their last piece, I asked him to bring his bagpipes and pipe us out to the garden to Amazing Grace. I released some butterflies when we got there. I found him warm, attentive, and open to suggestions. I had a great 60th Birthday celebration and he was a vital part of it.

Wow, they were amazing! I had multiple people ask if they could hire them for their party. I could not recommend them more. They are very talented, nice, organized and made it so easy. They made the party such a happy day.

Richard made one of the hottest days of this summer even hotter!My backyard BBQ was a hit especially because of this great entertainer....Just what this bunch of sixty-something Italians needed and enjoyed emensley!The man is certainly a MUSIC MAN and can play anything....mandolin,guitar,etc...My children all danced for hours and still can't stop talking about him. the classic Italian hits he sang had everyone swaying to the music and singing along...great guy to add to any party!!!Thanks Richard!!!!

I easily gave Richard 5 starts across the board!! He is extremely talented, very kind, and professional. He arrived right on time and was fantastic to work with. Everyone at my event really enjoyed his music, singing, dancing, and energy. I would highly recommend Richard and am looking forward to booking him again.

Richard Stillman and his players were OUTSTANDING! Everyone at the party commented on how wonderful the band was. This was a very special party for our family, because it was a memorial for my mother who recently passed away, and we chose to honor her happy spirit with a happy send-off. And Richard Stillman was the PERFECT choice to lift people's spirits and keep things upbeat. His voice is beautiful and the playing truly was exceptional. My 82 year old aunt has been a professional musician all of her adult life, and she can be extremely critical of other performers, but she RAVED about Richard Stillman's combo! And that is saying a LOT!

Richard was fabulous...he was friendly, and very accomodating. Everyone lived his music,songs, dances, and all the many instruments he played.
We will be hiring hm once again for our St. Patrick's Party next year as well!

We had a western-themed BBQ and Richard arrived dressed in western attire. He sang some country songs and had a great voice. He then taught 16-20 of us (some as young as 5) a square dance. He did some rope tricks to the kids and each child was given a stiff lasso to try. The kids loved him and were squealing with delight during the rope tricks and the dancing. He also taught some line dances that were so much fun. In the end, he led the guests in a march around our lawn while he played the bagpipes. I could not have asked for a greater all-around entertainer than Richard. He was amazing! All of our guests were raving about him afterwards.

We could not have been happier. The performance was all that and more. He and his partner were not only professional but true gentlemen. We received so many compliments on their performance. My knew husband, who is a true bluegrass fan, said the next day to me that they made the wedding. It was one of the best decisions I ever made in hiring Richard Stillman to be part of my wedding day. Bravo !!!

I would highly recommend Richard Stillman. He did a wonderful job playing at my sons' Communion party. He was entertaining, and the music was lively but not too loud. He accompanied my two Irish dancers beautifully. He arrived early and was set up well before my guests arrived, He has a lovely personality and looked and acted professionally. I received many compliments from my guests. My guests truly enjoyed the entertainment. It made the party fun & memorable.

Wow!!! What a guy!!! Richard Stillman is a class act, a one man show that can do it all. He had our elementary school filled with sheer joy and entertainment that will last a lifetime. He did Italian storytelling, tarantella, educated them on all his Italian instruments. It was a great time for all! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Richard! He was flexible when covid and the rain changed our plans, is a very talented musician, and was focused on making sure everyone had a wonderful time!! We had a BLAST!

We hired Richard and his band for our wedding in October 2016. Richard was really easy to communicate with and had a brilliant songlist which we then selected some tunes from. We asked Richard if he could play the bride down the aisle, and chose Shenandoah which he then played absolutely fantastically. Richard and the band then played music over the next 2 hours and it was really good.
The most common thing wedding guests said to us was how good the band was - my only regret is we didn't have more of Richard and his band, they were terrific and I would recommend them to everyone for all occasions.

Richard did a tremendous job at our event. He was very accomodating and open to music suggestions. He was also very professional in his actions. Showed up on time, dressed well, and was very good to our guests. I would highly recommend him.
