Mr Young did an excellent job playing when everyone arrived. He even played a couple warm up songs while he waited. My priest was pleased with his performance and I gave him his name All in attendance commented on how well he played.

Derek Young gave a supreme performance at our event with Susan Eisenhower, granddaughter of President Eisenhower. He added flair and elegance to this memorial to President Eisenhower and other important figures of the history of Peacock Military Academy in San Antonio. He was dressed impecably and his rendering of Scottish Hymns deeply touched the attendees and made many a tear be shed. Derek is wonderful.

Derek played three Scottish tunes at my mom's memorial service and played them beautifully. (He may have even inspired my brother to take up the pipes again.) Thank you Derek for making my mom's send-off so lovely and unique.

Derek Young was perfect for our memorial service. He was immediately responsive during booking. He was available by text and phone. He listened to our requests and helped in planning his portion of the service. He arrived early so detailed planning and placement could be fine tuned. I cannot say enough kind things about Derek and the special aspect he brought to our day. He was dignified, knowledgeable, and his performance was perfect. Derek’s musicianship was top notch. He made our special memorial even more special. We highly recommend Derek and would hire him again without reservation. Perfect!

Derek helped us celebrate & honor my brother as we said our final goodbye to my brother. May he R.I.P. He was on-time & flexible when the priest asked him to play inside the church as the mass was delayed. He was amzing; very talented. Hire him for your next event.
